I couldn't let the weekend go by without posting something new ;p . I'm really starting to like Ahsoka, even though I know almost nothing about her. But I'm sure the Clone Wars is going to be a good show, my distate for the art design notwithstanding. But then again, I wasn't too thrilled with Bruce Timm's style when the animated Batman series first started, but at least it wasn't The Batman oogly :crazy: so maybe it'll grow on me =p

Another pic I had filled in the base colors for, but didn't get the chance to post before my vacation. I also redid the lightsaber blades so they looked more identicle. I just copied the blade of Anakin's saber and adjusted the angle slightly to fit Ahsoka's hilt.

Just another tiny update on this pic. Thanks to pics posted by :iconsailor-kitty19: , :icontenwood: , and :iconlillyanerefia: of a real-life Ahsoka (much thanks to them ;) ), I was able to make some minor corrections to Ahsoka's design. Mainly the pattern design on her skirt, and her boots. I also changed the color of lips.

Only one month till "Clone Wars", yay! :D

Can't believe it's been more than a year since I started this picture :wow: , but it's FINALLY done. Thanks to being able to watch the show I was able to make little minor changes to the drawing (mostly colors).

when and where is this series on? Also, it's a little hard to tell her right hand is holding the saber.

If the show were done even close to the style here, I'd be totally in love with what I've seen.

Yeah, hands are probably the hardest thing to draw.

They're actually going to release a feature length film in theaters (I imagine they just took the first few episodes and turned them into a movie) sometime in August (I believe the 15th) and the series will premiere on Cartoon Network and TNT shortly after that in fall. Unfortunately both those channels love to clog up half the screen with promo ads about every 5 minutes :pissed: Here's hoping that being such a control freak that Lucas is, he'll make a deal to limit or eliminate those ads :fingerscrossed:

I also believe it wouldn't have killed them to at least try to make the art design for the show look a little . . . well, good :O_o: Why they insist on trying to be stylish (also see: sucky looking :D ) is beyond me.

yeah, I don't get it, for all the effort that STILL goes into making all that CG, why make it look so odd? It looks OK when it's drawn because you don't have to keep anything in proportion, arms can get a little longer, legs a little smaller, ect... But CG, you can't do in CG all the crazy stuff you can do with drawings.

I haven't seen a single ad on CN for this, I think I saw one like, months ago, and that was it. Or maybe I saw it on youtube. CN's been pimping Ben 10 Alien Force for the last 2 months as far as I've seen. Though I have enjoyed the Wall-E commercials.

Nice.

I like the style they use. I mean, yeah, its just sucked out of the cartoon, and it probably doesnt work best for 3-D, but I like it.

Yeah, Ahsoka looks cool. I just dont like the voice acting from the trailer.
