I think Bastila sometimes gets a bad rep. Sure she can be a little holier-than-thou, sometimes. And be a little too self-righteous, and tend to carry on a bit . . . . . . . okay alot a bit But you still gotta love her.

Sure she's pretty fine, but it's her ability to take a whole lot of asses and totally kick them that I like most about her. Add to that she carries a double-bladed saber, which (according to backstory) is much more difficult to master than a regular lightsaber, does say something about her character as well.

I must admit I am ridiculously proud of this pic. It turned out much better than I could hope.

I finally repainted my Bastila pic!! I pretty much just used all the exact same colors I did before, I just adjusted the opacity. The only things I didn't color was the metal stuff. Redid the space backdrop and gave ner new lightsaber blades.

This was an expirement to find an easier way to add the glow of the lightsaber on the character itself without having to go all the way back to the original paint shop file of the image with the colors still "layered" and before I added the lightsaber blades. Once I came up with a way it was fairly simple. Though I did wind up redoing the lightsaber blade on the right as well as the glow with the current shade of yellow I use for lightsabers. So I'll be steadily adding this effect to my other drawings. And I've scrapped the original image. [link]
