Because you wanted me to do it, and I didn't want to do it!
Ever since I first started doing my Disney Sith Princess series [link] people have been wanting me to do one of Snow White (since she was the only Princess that was not on my list).
Over the past three years I would occassionally get notes and posted messages from people wanting me to do Darth Snow White. Well, the more people wanted me to do Snow White, the more I didn't want to do her It got to the point where I did not want to do her so much that I actually started to want to do it (this is artist logic it's not supposed to make sense )
So about three months ago I decided to give it a try. Now this was the first time I ever tried to draw Snow White. I was going to rent the movie before I tried this, but when I finally decided to do this it was late one night and the Blockbuster was closed, so I went on a goggle search for images and checked out a lot of videos on youtube. I only did this one sketch, but the pencils ended up being so messy that even after I inked it and erased the pencils there was so many smudges it took awhile to clean the linework, which I did steadily over the past three months during free time.
As you can see I totally went Starkiller on Snow White. Even made her lightsaber look like his. Instead of the apple I wanted to have her doing some kind of apple-shaped kind of Force lightning (which I might still do) but then I said just screw it and just used a real apple. Of course I had to give White a cute ass but I couldn't post the black and white inks, because she looked like I drew her bare-ass

Just a minor change. I originally wanted the only red in the pic to be Snow White's lips, because of that whole "lips as red as blood" thing. But of course I had to make the saber red with her being a Sith. I did play with the idea of making her saber a different color. I mean you could give Galen Starkiller a blue or green saber in "The Force Unleashed", and my Darth Jasmine has a red and blue combo double blade, but neither color looked very Sithy. I suppose I could emphasize her Sith eyes, but then I thought about a black lightsaber and it just clicked. A black lightsaber glows white, duh!
But then that just left the apple. But again, Dark Side prevails!! A little Force lightning and scorched apple
I've moved the original red saber version to scraps if you haven't already seen it Let me know which one you think looks better.
Oh wow. The black saber, the black lightning, and those eyes. She looks downright evil. I don't know why you didn't want to do her but this is my favorite one. Amazing work. Great job on the whole series. Can't wait to see what else you release.
Okay, this is a little unsettling. My woman is a slammin hot brunette who wants a black-light saber---oh yeah, she's a witch. Throw in a black cat and this would totally be her.
Holy Shit. She must be a stone-fuckin-cold murderess x.x
I'm not sure which Disney Princess I like best on Disney traits- beauty attitude/personality intelligence/competence/whatever
but I can definitely say this one is by far the most SITH of all of them. I can actually see 'Darth Snow' as a Star Wars character. It's scary. It's wierd. But it works. And it's awesome. ^_^
