I've been dying to talk about The Clone Wars and do art inspired from the show, especially since the show started (damn, I went through the whole season without being here ). This picture is another one I did way back last year, I've just been slowly adding the base colors to it. After I saw the TCW movie and well before the show started. One thing I noticed from the movie and in previews of the show was that only the male Jedi got to wear armor. This was also before I knew Aayla was even going to be on the show. So I wanted to see what Aayla might look like with the same kind of armor Anakin and Obi-Wan wore.

My original idea was to have her standing in front of her clones, I just never got around to drawing them. I'll probably include Commander Bly (that backstabbing, traitorous cell of a Jango )

But I will have to redo her lightsaber to match its design on the show.

There were a few who thought the white armor seemed to clash, and I had to agree, so I thought I'd try another color. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a color that went with either Aayla's outfit or her skin, so I decided to try black (which goes with everything . . . . . and is also very slimming ).
