Taking some advice from someone who knows how to color much better than me, I recolored my Jaina pic, tying a couple of new things with the tools I use.

I colored her hair to replace that "shiny" look with what I hope looks more like flowing tresses. There's no way I can do that same "brush" stroke effect that photoshop allows, I just don't have those features on my Paint Shop brushes, but I did try to put a little more "grain". Especially for her clothes. I actually added a little more "shine" to her tabard and boots, since they're made out of leather.

And when I colored this pic the first time, I hadn't yet read any of the NJO books, so I was just going by the Japanese covers and it looked like Jaina had a blue saber. However in several NJO books that I've read, Jaina's saber has been described as being violet, and since I don't think it's the same shade of purple she had during her Young Jedi days I figure it's a blue-ish violet, which in fact looks like the color they gave it on the Japanese covers. So I just added a touch of violet to the normal blue glow I use for her saber.

Nice. Although, you do know that Jaina's lightsaber has and as of right now is still Amethyst, right?

Thanks. Every book I've read has described Jaina as having a violet lightsaber. That is the color all the Japanese covers Jaina is on has had so that's what I go with, since they're usually more actuate than the American covers. Besides, it shows a lack of variety that Jaina and her little brother Anakin both have purple lightsabers :D

Point. I actually do like the Japanese covers better than the American. This is why some people say I hate Japan. They have better Star War covers than America.!
