Kewl! I love it, and think it suits Jaina's character very well: the expression, the "attitude!" And as to the clothing--the books are oddly mute on most of it: if it's mentioned at all, it's usually something amorphous like "Jedi robes," with a color (...or not...). The outfit here would certainly fit for Jaya, with the very "functional" and "not fussy" nature of it (she's definitely never been a clothes horse, lol! )--plus, it would fit right under a flightsuit if she needed to get space-borne quickly. Great work (and it's wonderful to see you illustrating some of the EU characters, too!)!

I'm glad you like it. And I think it's becoming pretty clear that I'm a sucker for a girl with a lightsaber, hehehehe. And thanks for the info about the clothes. Even the novels I read way back when weren't real big with clothes discriptions. I wouldn't have been able to draw Mara's outfit if I was only going by Zahn's trilogy. Thanks goodness for the cool Japanese novel covers and the comics lol. And I do hope the authors give Jaina the spotlight soon. I hate to see a character with great potential go to waste.

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I really didn't want to go all "Old Republic" putting Jaina in bulky robes, but then again I also didn't want her to look like she raided Aayla Securra's wardrobe either But I did have to give her the leather tunic Anakin was so fond of wearing in Eps II and III.

I noticed about the leather tarbard (I think that's how you spell it...) I'm glad you put her in something new yet not skimpy.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, "tunic" was the only word I could think of to describe it. But you're right it is a "tabard" (correct spelling). The tunic would be what most jedi would wear underneath the tabard.
