After over a dozen Star Wars pics in a row, I definitely need to throw in something different ;)

This Lara pic I drew several years ago. Shortly after the first movie came out, I would say. I just inked it a couple of weeks ago. Just colored it today. I think I'm finally developing a method for coloring hair :thumbsup:

Nice work, man! But I'm a titch confused about something...is she blind-firing that gun because she's in motion, or is she actually aiming it? I ask 'cause, if she's supposed to be aiming it, it's way above her sight line; but for blind-firing, or fiiring on the move, it works. Just wondering; the piece rocks hard regardless!

Who doesn't love kick-@$$ women!? :p :clap: GREAT pose here--very dynamic, as though we've caught her in mid-spin here--and the light and coloring are wonderful! **studies expression** How do you get the faces to convey exactly what the piece needs...? They're almost always perfect, and done so very well... **envy** :D Love it!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. As for Lara's expression . . . . I drew it mainly based on her character. Exploring and danger seem to be what she lives for, so even when she's struggling to stay alive there is a part of her that is enjoying herself, hence the battle-grin. I have about half the comic books they've printed of Lara (unless they're doing a new series I don't know about) and she's usually depicted as so intense, it's like they sometimes forget that Lara is doing what she loves. Angelina Jolie played Lara just right, with a perfect balance of playfulness and seriousness.
And there's plenty of envy to go around ;) , I doubt I could every convey the emotion you captured in Han Solo in your "Unacceptable Losses" piece :thumbsup: .
