Finally!!!! Another Mara Jade pic :boogie:

This is Mara shortly after the Thrawn trilogy. Not sure why she's smiling. I imagine she is about to make someone (or someones) very unhappy, :D

Ah, Mara... **sniffles** Back in the good ol' days of the TTT... It's really a fitting tribute, as things stand right now--but I'm going to ignore all that and just enjoy this beautiful painting: her face is all MJ--fierce, contained...with a touch of feral there; fabulous job with her leather catsuit--perfect highlights! :clap: And I'm really liking that background, too--it's like folded black satin...very fitting, I'm thinking! :nod: This one is DEFINITELY a :+fav:!

Thanks. Instead of going with a lighter color at a low opacity I would normally use for highlighting, I went with a darker shade (in this case a darker shade of gray) at a higher opacity to give it a more solid look.
I don't care if Mara is 20-something or almost 60 years old, she knows how to work the leather outfits :love: . Although I've seen pics of Mara wearing a couple different kind of outfits, this one seems to be the definitive Mara attire. It certainly my favorite. I love drawing it :D .
