I found myself with some freetime :w00t: (finished a commission, but another fell through, and 2 others are on hold :worry: ) so I decided to do some new drawings.

I just had to add my girl Mara :love: with my Luke pic.

I've been wanting to do a Mara/Luke pic for awhile now, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. And this set up gives me the option of adding Ben later ;) .

Just added Ben. The whole Skywalker family :D !!!

Seems like the only official picture of Ben is his picture on the cover of "Fury", but I couldn't use it because he all kind of ugly :laughing: . From stupid ugly to ***damn!!! The Ben fanart looked way better. Most artists gave him spikey hair or a crew cut, so I went a little in between. His hair is standing up a little but he's got a few bangs going, which turned out to look more like Luke's hair.

And the uniform I based on how Jacen's GAG uniform is discribed as being black and militaristic, so I gave it a little Imperial influence as well.

Another update preview. I wanted to wait until I had finished coloring all of them, but it looks like that's going to be awhile still :cry:

You've kept current with the series, right? After her big fight, and the surprise visit at the Temple in the book afterwards, she does what? And others who have done that have also become...


Sorry, no spoilers is hard with this sort of thing.

As for the shoto, I figured, I just thought I'd give you a hard time about it. Maybe it should look a bit closer or be in a sort of semi-holster thing...enough to hold it close but loose enough to let it still be quick-draw and visible?

Hey, that would have been cool :) .

And that's an armband. When I was searching for reference material to draw Mara her arms were always bare in this outfit, so the first time I drew her, I just gave her an armband on impulse and I've always drawn her with one ever since (this is only my third Mara pic ;) ). Besides, how can you not emphasize those T2 Linda Hamilton arms :D .
