Spider Gallery 1992

Drawn in 1992.

This is the only time I've drawn all the Spidey Heroes on the same sheet of paper. Actually, I had originally planned to just have Spidey and the Spider-Womans, but I remembered the 2099 Spidey they had at the time so I squeezed him in.

I think Erik Larsen (who went on to create The Savage Dragon) was a regular artist for one of the Spidey titles at the time, so I usually drew Spidey a little more his style. I know Todd McFarlene is considered a legend by most, but by the time the 90s came rolling round I really couldn't stand his art anymroe (Spawn being the exception).

Since the original Spider-Woman died at the end of her series, there wasn't much current reference material for her. Luckily I had nearly all 50 issues of her series, so I think I actually got that pose directly from the comic.

Don't think I used any reference for the 2nd Spider-Woman which is probably whay she doesn't look as "clean" as the others. I used pencil crayons and a red marker to color the pic.
