First off I want to thank everyone for their well-wishes last month when I was sick (it wasn't anything serious, just a little bug that lasted about 3 days), and I apologize if I made anyone worry.
But if only that was the biggest problem. Once again, finacial difficulties are hitting my family hard (we had one of our vehicles repossessed; we've since got it back). But I'm not going to leave like I did last year. in fact I really need to start doing new commissions again, but I can't do that until I finish up all current commissions, so I really need to hunker down.
One bright spot however is that I became an uncle for the seventh time My brother's second son was born a few days ago
Besides, there's no way I'm going to miss out on the fun with this season's "The Clone Wars."

What have you been watching?
Finally, a new journel entry. Since I really needed to post something new I figured why not talk about something I really like. The movies I've seen this year ;) These will be spoiler-free mini reviews ;)

Clash of the Titans 3D (very lame-ass 3D  )
Now I saw the original "Clash of the Titans" in the theaters when I was a kid (even had a few of the action figures), even a few times on cable throughout the years as I grew up. I even recently saw it on DVD for the first time about three years ago. And it stills hold up pretty well, not really for anyone who has never
Contests are Fun!!
I'm not having a contest, I'm hoping to participate in a contest (I also needed to put up a new Journal Entry, something not depressing ;p ) I've actually never won a contest before in a my life. There was this one art contest in the first grade I did place 2nd even though my drawing was clearly the best . . . yeah no hard feelings there :pissed:
;p
~MasterOfZen (https://www.deviantart.com/masterofzen) is having a contest right now (you can get the details here http://masterofzen.deviantart.com/journal/32747732/ ) that I really want to try. I still have a lot of commissions that I need to finish up, but $400 prize is worth the risk, of winning nothing, I think ;p

Once again.....
I had promised myself that my next journal entry was not going to be bad news. But once again....
Actually, it didn't turn out that bad. The night before we had a huge thunderstorm, actually I slept through the whole thing, but I did have to deal with the aftermath. Almost every house in our neighborhood who has trees in their yard had broken branches. Our backyard, which is rather large had a lot of branches littered everywhere (thankfully our dogs didn't get hurt), I actually did see a couple of trees (not ours) that were nearly split in two. They said that winds during the storm got to near-tropical storm strength.
It was no surpris
Belated happy Holidays!!
I hope every one had a good Christmas and New Years.
I wasn't around much last month. At the beginning of December my father almost died. He's doing fine now, but he's still recovering.
He had a temperature of a 103 when we got him to the emergency room. He had to have his gallbladder taken out. Turns out he had about a half dozen gall stones and one of them had passed through his pancreas, which is where the fever came from. Coupled with his age and diabetes it did complicate things and delayed the surgery a few days until the pancreas was strong enough. It got really scary.
The doctor suspected he had the gall stones for years, one

I must've missed that journal. I hope you feel much better now, though.
And congratulations!
