Rumors of My ......

I am still alive.  I apologize for making anyone worry.  I could have sworn I left a message that everything was okay after Hurricane Ike.  And I did (sorta) on the last Deviation I posted last year, and I was posting comments and replies a few days after the storm passed.

But I should have made a proper journal post.

I was just away.  I would have made an "On Hiatus" journal post had I known I would be going away for awhile, and I never thought I would be away for so long.  I'm still not ready to come back just yet but a couple of friends left word at my Youtube channel that some were starting to think I was dead, so I had to drop by.

Again I apologize for that.

My absence had nothing to do with Hurricane Ike.  Unfortunately for the people north of us in Galveston the hurricane missed us completely.  The problem was finacial.  Money was already getting very tight long before Ike, but shortly after that I had to get another job, which pretty much killed any spare time I had.  There were other factors as well, but that was the biggest thing.

And another apology to those whose commissions I still have yet to finish for them.  Obviously, I can no longer take any commissions. Even when I do officially come back it may be a long while before I can even think about it again.

I have really missed this place and the people here.  There's so many things I want to talk about, so much art I need to catch up on, as well as start drawing my own again (I haven't drawn a single thing since I left    ).

So I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still kicking.  I'll be sure to check in at least once a week from now on.
