I just can't seem to stay away from this meme. As I said in my first meme there were a lot of influences for me as an artist. These are just some of the ones I thought were important enough to give honorable mentions to :D

Again, thanks goes to :iconfox-orian: for the wonderful meme.

Ah, some more animation stuff that I loved! I blush to admit that I have yet to see "The Secret of NIHM". However, I did see "An American Tail", "Anastasia", and "Titan A.E.". I enjoyed them all. :)

I have to confess that I never got into the Marvel Comics, even though I knew they were around for years, and I also didn't know that TMNT started out as a comic (oh, uneducated me!). After the X-men films came out, I read an "X-men" omnibus as well as the hardcover "Ultimate Guide to the X-men", and I finally got to know them. Anybody who thinks these comics are written just for children and teenaged geeks couldn't be more wrong. These stories have such pathos and social satire that you realize the characters' overall appearance and superpowers are beside the point. The characters are well-written human beings with thoughts, feelings, and opinions. I own some of the "X-men: Evolution" cartoons on DVD, and they are amazingly mature for a Saturday morning show, which is why I like them so much (not to mention that supercool theme music!). :D

I'm happy to see that you have "Gargoyles" on your list. This is another favorite of mine, and I purchased all the DVDs that Disney has released so far. :D
